Credit card debt - Credit card debt is an example of unsecured consumer debt. It results when a customer of a credit card company does not pay the company for the money he or she has spent.
Letter of credit - A letter of credit, often abbreviated as an LOC or LC, and also referred to as a documentary credit is a document issued by a financial institution which essentially acts as an irrevocable guarantee of payment to a beneficiary. This means that if the applicant obtaining the LC fails to perform its obligations, the bank pays.
